Ted will always be Mr. Lorts to me. He was my Mr. Holland at Fruita Monument High School and Fruita United Methodist Church in the 1970’s. My first voice teacher, guitar teacher (I bought my first two guitars from him), choir director and mentor I was Lucy to his Snoopy in “Your a Good Man Charlie Brown”, memories I still cherish. He played a significant role in my life and I am blessed to have known and learned from him. Thank you, Mr. Lorts for the music. I carry it always. My sincere condolences to his family. May his memory be eternal.
