Obituary of Michelle King

LEOTA MICHELLE KING Leota Michelle King, 44, Centralia, MO passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 in Columbia, MO. She was born September 12, 1975 the daughter of Steven King and the late Leota (Brown) King. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Michael Monroe, Jr. of Centralia, MO and Steven Monroe of Centralia, MO; two step daughters Erika Monroe of Moberly, MO and Christina Cockrell and her husband Travis of Moberly, MO; her father Steven King and his wife Terry of Moody, AL; one sister Claudette King of Moberly, MO; two grandchildren Maylee and Mary-bell; other relatives and many dear friends. Michelle worked for Phoenix Homecare for several years. She was a member of the Girl Scout’s as a child and later became a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed listening to music and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always willing to help anyone at any time. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
