Obituary of Judy Schmidt
JUDITH ANN “JUDY” SCHMIDT
Judith Ann “Judy” Schmidt, 80, Spring, TX formerly of Centralia, MO, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center in The Woodlands, TX. She was born January 29, 1942, in Allegheny, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Olive (Donohew) Brown. On July 7, 1962, she was united in marriage to Quentin Schmidt who preceded her in death on December 5, 2004.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Michelle Schmidt and Todd Scott of Centralia, MO; one son Randy Schmidt and his wife Cheryl of Spring, TX; two sisters Dorothy Brodmerkel of Hookstown, PA and Jackie Brown of Gadsden, AL; four grandchildren Jaymi Freeman, Collin Schmidt, Caleb Schmidt, and Chase Schmidt; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, one son Brian Kurt Schmidt preceded her in death.
Judy was a homemaker and was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She attended Hickory Grove Church and enjoyed tanning and sitting by the pool, clogging, dancing, bowling, shopping, and spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
