Obituary of Dylen Wayne Gordon

DYLEN W. “BEAR” GORDON Dylen W. “Bear” Gordon, 28, Ames, Iowa, formerly of Centralia, MO passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at his home. He was born October 6, 1993, in Columbia, Missouri. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents Margo and Tim Vanlandingham of Sturgeon, MO and Kenny and Tammy Griggs of Centralia, MO; his siblings Trey, Raven, Kane, McKenzie, Kyle and his wife Cheyenne, Grace, Hunter and Lane; his grandparents R.M. Gordon of Centralia, MO, Penny Vanlandingham of Clark, MO and Linda Griggs of Centralia, MO; three nieces and nephews Carter, Bradleigh and Adryn; other relatives and many dear friends. Bear was preceded in death by his grandmother Louise Gordon, two grandfathers Jack Vanlandingham and Jim Griggs and his uncle Adam Griggs. Bear worked at Jimmy John’s in Ames, IA for several years. He enjoyed all types of gaming and gathering with his friends. His world was centered around his best friend, his dog, Dimond. He could make anyone smile and he had a laugh that no one would forget. A celebration of life will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
