Obituary of Donald Berrey
DONALD C. BERREY
Donald C. Berrey, 95, Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Monroe Manor in Paris, MO. He was born May 18, 1927, the son of the late Clayton and Lola Mae (Crawford) Berrey. On August 20, 1945, he was united in marriage to Dorothy “Manabelle” (Robinson) Berrey who preceded him in death on March 21, 2010.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Deby Crump and her husband Phil of Thompson, MO; two grandchildren Crystal Wolfe and her husband Mike and Clayton Crump and his wife Heather; six great grandchildren Lexi, Croix, Charlie, Addie, Ellie and Porter; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his wife, two sisters Betty Womack and Dorothy Harrison preceded him in death.
Mr. Berrey served his country in the United States Navy, and he owned and operated his own farm until his retirement in 2010. First, he was a member of Liberty Christian Church and later a member of Centralia First Christian Church and finally was a member of the NTPA. He enjoyed travelling to Florida and Texas for the winter, tractor pulls, boating, hunting, playing pool and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
