Obituary of Jennifer Greene

JENNIFER L. GREENE Jennifer L. Greene, 66, Sturgeon, MO passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 7, 1956, in Poplar Bluff, MO the daughter of the late Wiley and Dorothy (Jennings) Holt and later she was adopted by the late Lilburn “Shorty” and Geraldine Minor. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Heather Greene of Sturgeon, MO, Kimberly Sant’Anna and her husband Mariano of North Port, FL, Timothy Greene and his wife Ly of Chicago, IL, Jeremy Greene of Columbia, MO, Jarrett Wilkins of Leander, TX and Tiffany Owens and her husband Binh Hoang of Leander TX; one brother Roger Holliday of Arnold, MO; two sisters Helen Tettamble of Hannibal, MO and Beverly Stringer of Shawnee Town IL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, four sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Jennifer worked as a teacher for several Missouri schools for 23 years. She enjoyed puzzles, sudoku, camping, traveling, orchestras and symphonies. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and was the inspiration for the founding of the Missouri Adoptee Rights Movement.
