Luther Angel was a man that stood by his word, talked louder than anybody I ever knew,
loved his wife and family with devotion, supported his friends and Centralia, unfailingly and LIVED LIFE LARGE
on His terms. It don't get much better than that. God's speed Luth.

Joan, I am so sorry for your loss, Luther was one great guy, one in a million as we all know. :)
I always planned to stop by the western store and see Luther when I came to Centralia. Luther
had a really fantastic memory.
On one of my trips we were talking and he mentioned a couple of
old men, long gone that owned property down by our place. And that would have been 60 years
ago at the time. We lived down by where the park exit is these days, had a few acres and run
a dairy which you may recall back in the 50's. The good ole days don't you see!
I enjoyed those days back then. We all did I think.
Joan, GOD BLESS.
Your ole friend, Roy Brown

Luther was one in a million. Great guy, long time friend. I will miss going to see Luther at the store when I come to Centralia.
I can still remember to this day hearing L W calling hogs at feeding time over northeast of where I lived, especially when the wind was in the north, northeast, probably a half mile to mile away! L W had a voice let me tell you, LW was Luther's dad.
At some time during each day both Luther and Buddy had chores to do with those hogs and cattle. Yes, the good ole days!
Buddy, we are never ready for this, God Bless. And Rose Mary, God Bless. Blessings to all the Angell family,
Roy Brown

Deepest condolences to the Angell family. I sure missed seeing Luther in the store when I was home last summer. I have not lived in Centralia for over 30 years and yet he always remembered me even thought I might not see him but maybe once or twice a year. Deeply saddened to learn of his passing but honored to have known him. His charismatic nature, deep love and kind heart for the community I call home will never be forgotten. Prayers for the family during this difficult time but with much love and joyful celebration of his life for he will be missed by many. Deepest sympathy... Kelly (Smith) Williams

So sorry to hear this. I do want to say that my husband Bill Washer (deceased 1991) and I had many great laughs & visits with the Angell family - brings smiles back to me of great times together. By the way I still have the pool table that Junior gave us for a wedding present. Love to all.
