Obituary of David Roberts

DAVID R. ROBERTS David R. Roberts, 73, Moberly, MO passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Valley View Health & Rehabilitation in Moberly, MO. He was born February 13, 1950, in Moberly, MO the son of the late James and Lanelta (Ginther) Roberts. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one sister Sharon Cleeton of Moberly, MO; his nieces and nephews Larry Cleeton, Deloris Young, Shannon Jordan, Duane Roberts, Mary Jo Colley and James Smith; several great nieces and nephews; his best friend Jim Baker; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, two sisters Barbara Fisher and Deborah “BoBo” Derbovn preceded him in death. David served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a kitchen supervisor for Moberly Towers for 30 years. He enjoyed going to the casino, rummage sales, fishing, and animals, especially dogs. Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
