Obituary of Debra C. Nelson

DEBRA C. “DEBBIE” NELSON Debra C. “Debbie” Nelson, 64, Butler, MO formerly of Centralia, MO passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 6, 1958, in Fayette, MO the daughter of the late Elbert Sims, Sr. and Peggy Sue Sims. She was united in marriage to Ronald Nelson who survives at the home. In addition to her husband Ronald, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five daughters Kascey Nelson of Butler, MO, Ronda Nelson of Kansas City, MO, Amanda Johnson of Adrian, MO, Shiela Doll of Butler, MO and Crystal Barnard of Butler, MO; three brothers Randy Sims of Centralia, MO, Elbert Sims of Boonville, MO and Jimbo Green of Hallsville, MO; two sisters Jenny Gallipeau of Kansas City, KS and Nancy Wells of Springfield, MO; 15 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, two brothers Kelly Sims and Leonard Sims and two grandchildren Landen Ivy and Bentley Stroud preceded her in death. Debbie worked as a CNA for Medicalodge for several years. She enjoyed Christmas movies, hallmark movies, music, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
