Obituary of Rob Williamson

ROBERT H. “ROB” WILLIAMSON Robert H. “Rob” Williamson, 71, Centralia, MO passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. He was born June 4, 1952, in Mexico, MO, the son of the late Paul and Bertie (Angell) Williamson. On October 28, 1972, he was united in marriage to Debra (Cossey) Williamson. In addition to his wife Debbie of 51 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons John Williamson and his wife Misty of St. James, MO, and Garrett Williamson and his wife Jeanna of Columbia, MO; one sister, Vicki Talley of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Isaak Williamson and his wife Rylee, Aleaha Andrews and her husband Taylor, Ian Williamson and Rhiannon Williamson; three great grandchildren Ava, Colt and Brantley; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one daughter Melissa Williamson, one grandson Hunter Williamson, and Rob’s brother Johnny Williamson preceded him in death. Rob served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a quality assurance supervisor for AB Chance Co. and later for Hubbell Power Systems. He was a member of the Centralia Church of Christ and enjoyed all sports, Nascar, playing baseball, coaching baseball, and golfing. Rob loved to sing and loved spending time with his friends and family. A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Centralia Church Of Christ in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Centralia Church Of Christ in Centralia, MO. Interment with military honors will be 2:00 pm January 4, 2023 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
