Obituary of Sunshine Lewis

FANNIE “SUNSHINE” LEWIS Fannie “Sunshine” Lewis, 85, Centralia, MO passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her home. She was born August 23, 1935 in Black Pond, MO the daughter of the late James Homer Murray and Gladys (Barton) Murray. On June 10, 1952 she was united in marriage to Samuel Marion Lewis. In addition to her husband Marion of 68 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Cindy Davidson of Sturgeon, MO; one brother Jack Murray and his wife Vicky of Gidings, TX; two grandchildren Chas Davidson and his wife Jami and Chris Davidson; three great grandchildren Matanna Davidson, Syler Davidson and Sawyer Davidson; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, two brothers Barton Murray and Jimmy Murray and a son in law Charles Davidson preceded her in death. Sunshine owned and operated Rocket Radio and TV with her husband for many years. Later they owned and operated Mexico TV and Stereo, and expanded their stores to several surrounding communities and eventually ended with Centralia TV and Stereo. She was a member of Riggs Union Church and enjoyed quilting, travelling, playing games and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved gathering with friends for birthdays and trips. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
