Obituary of Marcia Salisbury

MARCIA SALISBURY Marcia Salisbury, 84, Centralia, MO passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Columbia Post Acute Care in Columbia, MO. She was born June 15, 1937 in Ipava, IL the daughter of the late Orlie and Edith (Jones) Atwater. On June 4, 1955 she was united in marriage to Bennie Salisbury, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2010. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Rhonda Kottwitz and her husband John of Centralia, MO; two sons Tim Salisbury and his wife Gaye of Centralia, MO and Kimball Salisbury and his wife Denise of Centralia, MO; one sister Juanita Clark of Bella Vista, AR; eight grandchildren Taylor Salisbury, Melana Salisbury, Riley Salisbury, Connor Salisbury, Conrad Salisbury, Shelby Salisbury, Krista Angell and her husband Jardyn and Shane Kottwitz and his wife Hannah; two great grandchildren Dekker Angell and Julienne Angell; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her husband Bennie, one brother Larry Atwater and two sisters Joanne Willoughby and Jeannette Hulvey preceded her in death. Marcia helped her husband Bennie on the family farm for many years. She was a member of Centralia First Christian Church and enjoyed traveling, flowers and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Marcia and Bennie would travel to Texas in the winter and they loved all the friendships they made throughout their travels. Her true love was spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Centralia First Christian Church in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
