Obituary of Ricky Freeman

RICKY DALE FREEMAN Ricky Dale Freeman, 62, of Centralia, MO passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home. He was born April 17, 1959 the son of James Edward Freeman, Sr. and Anna Ruth (Gibson) Freeman. On August 20, 1983 he was united in marriage to Debbie Ann (Whelan) Freeman. In addition to his wife Debbie of 38 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Brandon Dale Freeman and his wife Jamie of Centralia, MO; one daughter Angela Ann Freeman of Centralia, MO; his mother Anna Ruth Freeman of Centralia, MO; his brother James Edward Freeman, Jr. of Centralia, MO; one grandson Mason James Freeman; nieces and nephews Jaymi Freeman, Jordan Whelan, Stephan Whelan and their spouses; his father-in-law Bill Whelan of Sedalia, MO; a brother-in-law David Whelan and his family of Sedalia, MO; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Edward Freeman, Sr. and his mother-in-law Barbara Whelan. Ricky worked for the City of Columbia as a fleet mechanic for many years. He was a member of the City of Columbia Union and the Lagers Union. He enjoyed working on all types of vehicles, deer hunting, being outdoors and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Grandview Baptist Church near Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until service time on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Grandview Baptist Church near Centralia, MO.
