Obituary of Susan Rose

SUSAN ELAINE ROSE Susan Elaine Rose, 73, Centralia, MO passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 3, 1948 in Mexico, MO the daughter of the late Ross and Thelma (Chandler) Torreyson. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Michille Lea Wheeler of Centralia, MO; one precious granddaughter Chelsea Sue Wheeler of Kansas City, MO; three brothers Bob Torreyson of Phoenix City, AL, Ed Torreyson of Centralia, MO and Don Torreyson and his wife Christine of Centralia, MO; all of her precious nieces and nephews who were just like her children. In addition to her parents, her grandfather Flynt Chandler and her grandmother Rosa Chandler preceded her in death. Susan worked for Shelter Insurance in Columbia, MO for over forty years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and family was everything to her. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Centralia, MO her entire life, serving as an elder, deaconate, choir member and youth leader. She was also named chairwoman of the administrative board, which was one of her most prized accomplishments. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Centralia City Cemetery in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, payable to Oliver Funeral Home, P.O.
