Obituary of Kenny Marcum

KENNETH R. “KENNY” MARCUM Kenneth R. “Kenny” Marcum, 76, Centralia, MO passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born January 15, 1945 in Princeton, IL the son of the late William and Arlene (Meisel) Marcum. On November 24, 1989 he was united in marriage to Joyce E. Fischer. In addition to his wife Joyce of 32 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Kyle Marcum of Centralia, MO, Michael Morrison and his wife Kim of Shawnee, KS and Dwayne Morrison of Drexel, MO; two sisters Karen Burger and her husband Neil of Milan, IL and Adeline Husser of Mendota, IL; six grandchildren Zack Marcum and Alex, Chelsea Addleman and her husband Chris, Cole Morrison and his wife Rachel, Megan Marcum, William Morrison and Daniel Morrison; six great grandchildren Benton, Laikyn, Paisley, Axton, Ember and Boden on the way; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. Kenny owned and operated his own farm for many years. He was a life time member of Centralia VFW Post 6276, American Legion and served on the board for MFA in Centralia. He enjoyed all aspects of farming and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A celebration of life will be 12:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment with military honors will be at 2:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
