Obituary of Raymond A. Keplar
RAYMOND A. KEPLAR
Raymond A. Keplar, 83, Santa Fe, Missouri formerly of Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 6, 1940, in El Dorado, KS the son of the late Arthur and Martha (Travnicek) Keplar. He first was united in marriage to Patricia (Ramsey), later he married Ruth Jean (Baldwin) and finally he reunited back to his first wife Pat.
In addition to his wife Pat, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Steve Keplar and his wife LeAnn of Council Grove, KS and Ray Keplar of Centralia, MO; two daughters Annie Clair of Salina, KS and Gina Keplar of Paris, MO; one step daughter Pamela Ford and her husband John of Pratt, KS; one sister Karen Klassen of Augusta, KS; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, eleven brothers and sisters; a stepdaughter Debbie; a granddaughter Randi a grandson Steven and Ruth Jean Keplar preceded him in death.
Ray worked for KG&E Power in Wichita, KS for 12 years. Then he accepted a job with A.B. Chance Co. to travel internationally where he went to 32 different countries. After his international work, he returned home to work domestically for A.B. Chance Company until his retirement in 2002. Later he owned and operated his own company Kep’s Training for several years. He was a member of the Centralia Country Club and enjoyed golf, woodworking, yardwork and spending time with his friends and family. Per family request, casual dress is recommended.
